Time is up, and the designers go back to their hotel for a nap before heading to Lincoln Center the next morning. It’s the last Tim Gunn Gather ’Round™ and he is near tears while giving the designers their pep talk. That’s a tall order the day before a runway show, so she hunkers down and designs her umpteenth shirt. Tim cautions her about sending out ten monotonous looks and encourages her to make some of the changes that the judges requested. Alexandria has a washable silk pant and vest for her new washable look and it is reminiscent of something Justin Bieber would wear to bed. When visits Justin, he notices that there’s a lot of work left to be done and inadvertently insults librarians. Tim calls it “janky,” which is not a good thing. Dom has big, bold prints galore, including a nutty catsuit. Bradon says his collection is “weird, in a good way,” but Dom thinks it just looks old because of all of the frumpy flowers. Tim pops into the workroom to give some last-minute feedback on the designers’ collections. But for Dom, Justin, Alexandria, and Bradon, it’s another trip to Mood to purchase fabric for their washable piece sponsored by one of those sudsy companies and two days until their runway shows. You don’t get to go to Fashion Week because you lost.
